Junior German & French Copywriter

Berlin, hybrid

This role is part of our Personalised Content team. We create emotive yet conversion-focused ideas, products and campaigns at scale and speed. Our specialty is hyper-personalised, digital communications that change perceptions, shape new behaviours, and shift market share for our clients including eBay, Ancestry, Walmart, and more

JOB PURPOSE

As a German and French-speaking Junior Copywriter, you'll primarily transcreate copy for all digital channels for our client, Mammut – providing on-brand website copy that drives clicks and engagement. You will work closely with key stakeholders to produce high-quality marketing copy that showcases our client's voice and furthers their brand story.

You will work closely with the English-speaking Copywriters to ensure tone and nuances are considered in the transcreation so that the text can work in the German market. You will follow and improve upon creative standards, processes, and guidelines to maximise quality and minimise churn. This role requires a genuine passion for the craft of copywriting, an affinity for brand storytelling, and a keen eye for detail. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Create clear, effective, and original copy and content for our clients' digital channelsIterate on copy changes quickly and effectively with guidance from Copy LeadAdhere to clients' tone of voice and brand guidelinesIdentify and communicate creative opportunities through competitor research and trendsCollaborate with Designers and Creative DirectorsContribute to team creative brainstormsProactively support other Copywriters regionally and globally

Strong command of the German and French language - specifically writing and grammar Some copywriting experience; a background in agency or brand is preferredAbility to produce error-free marketing content that sellsConfidence in taking ownership of individual work with support from Copy LeadAbility to work at a fast pace on large marketing campaigns with many assetsAn understanding of the importance of consistency across different touch points of a user journeyAbility to communicate ideas clearly and enthusiasticallyA collaborative approach to getting things doneA supportive, proactive attitude towards projectsDirectly available to start working in Berlin
