Job Opening: SAP Senior Consultant PE/MES at a Global Company

One of my favourite and friendly clients is currently on the search for a SAP Senior Consultant specializing in the PE/MES domain. They are a global company providing advanced IT solutions and services to assist customers in business and digital transformation. As a longstanding SAP partner and SAP Platinum Partner, the company offers medium-sized and large enterprises worldwide a comprehensive solution for business process automation to enhance long-term competitiveness.

The company is expanding and seeking a Senior SAP Consultant specializing in the PE/MES domain. This role is remote with total compensation of up to €120k depending on experience, with flexible benefits and bonus opportunities.

Job Functions:

  • Customer consulting and project support to optimize business processes.
  • Harmonize, and integrate business processes in alignment with customer needs.
  • System settings and customize solutions to meet specific customer requirements.
  • Deliver presentations, workshops, and training sessions for clients.
  • Support development projects related to business process optimization.
  • Support for the MES (Manufacturing Execution System) solution, including configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Support SAP ERP production processes through customizations and enhancements.
  • Train users on MES processes to ensure effective implementation.
  • Develop and enhance demo systems showcasing MES solutions.
  • End-to-end integration of MES and related systems for seamless operations.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Completion of studies in business administration, (business) informatics, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Years of hands-on experience in SAP project implementation and/or support.
  • Expertise in SAP PE and MES modules, including configuration and customization, with a willingness to explore new areas of expertise.
  • Experience in SQL with a solid understanding of database management.
  • Proficiency in German with strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to travel for project-related assignments.
  • Exceptional dedication, self-reliance, and teamwork abilities.

Stand outs:

  • Experience with SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII) or digital Manufacturing (DM).
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA or ECC platforms.
  • Experience in IoT integration, Industry 4.0, and machine connectivity.
