Your mission

Ory's mission is to make the internet more secure and private. Therefore security is our highest priority. As a security officer at Ory, you have a vital role in ensuring information and physical security.

What you'll do

  • Develop, establish and improve the company's security strategy, policies, and processes
  • Define security needs, identify risk factors, vulnerabilities and determine respective solutions
  • Respond to daytoday inquiries from customers, partners, and the general public regarding security
  • Participate in sales calls and onboarding activities
  • Write whitepapers and blogs
  • Implement ISO27001 and SOC2 and lead respective audit and compliance initiatives
  • Oversee testing, deployment, and maintenance of security hardware and software products as well as outsourced services
  • Create security awareness within each and every member of the organization

Profile:

  • Degree in computer science or a technologyrelated field
  • 7+ years experience in an information security role
  • Very good knowledge of various information security frameworks
  • Profound knowledge of cloud infrastructure, system administration and security technology
  • Very good English verbal and written communication skills, German is a Plus
  • Commitment to work an average of 4 days a week in the office in Munich
