The IT Infrastructure Daimler Truck (ITI) organization is providing the infrastructure and all Cyber Security Solutions for the Daimler Truck Group worldwide. We progress together as one strong team with our business partners in all Daimler Truck entities around the globe and with our external service providers.

The role of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will give you the opportunity to lead and shape the future of cyber security for Daimler Truck, and work in a dynamic and supportive environment that values innovation and teamwork. It's a place where technical prowess meets a shared mission to secure the future. Each team member plays a crucial role in achieving cybersecurity excellence, fostering an environment rich in knowledge-sharing and forward-thinking, leading this team is the place to be.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

  • Further develop and implement a global information security strategy including Vehicle and Shopfloor security and its roadmaps
  • Lead & shape the global cyber security organization in close alignment with the IT Leadership team and the business
  • Oversee the management of cyber risks and compliance with the ISO/IEC 27K family of standards for information security
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed security into the development lifecycle of our products and services
  • Drive security initiatives from awareness to culture within the company
  • Provide leadership during security incidents and ensure timely and effective responses

Profil

THAT'S WHY YOU ARE A MATCH

  • Proven long-term experience as a CISO or in a similar leadership role within the field of information and cyber security.
  • Strong understanding of the cyber security landscape incl. vehicle and shopfloor security
  • Strong understanding of the corresponding regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels incl. Board of Management
  • Problem solving attitude and strategic thinking
