AWO Regionalverband Mitte-West-Thüringen e.V. is looking for an Energiemanager*in to join their team in Weimar for 35-39 hours per week.

About us: The AWO (Arbeiterwohlfahrt) supports individuals of all ages and backgrounds in various aspects of their lives. Our work encompasses health and elderly care, counseling, education, youth programs, childcare, migration, integration, intercultural initiatives, and administration.

Curious to learn more?

• Enhancing energy efficiency and reducing energy consumption
• Developing energy concepts (renewable energies)
• Collaborating closely with the building management team
• Procuring energy sources in partnership with energy providers, suppliers, and AWO divisions
• Conducting regular energy audits and reporting findings
• Integrating technical systems with the internal information architecture
• Training and raising awareness among staff

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Sciences, Energy or Sustainability Management, or significant work experience in a related field
• Degree in Civil Engineering or similar qualification
• In-depth knowledge of energy efficiency technologies and renewable energies
• Analytical skills for assessing energy consumption
• Familiarity with relevant energy laws
• Passion for the job and the ability to work independently
• Openness, sociability, teamwork, strong communication skills, and dedication
