What you will be doing:
  • Handling customer inquiries through various channels (phone, email, TEAMS), qualifying and managing them using cutting-edge tools (ticket system)
  • Providing 1st and 2nd level support, guaranteeing performance and resolving issues
  • Installing and upkeep of hardware and software on our inland vessels in Northern Europe
  • Maintaining client systems
  • Training clients in-person, digitally, and over the phone
  • Serving as a liaison between the shipping company's staff and software developers
What we expect from you:
  • Completion of IT-related vocational training or equivalent education
  • Prior work experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft infrastructure, PC hardware, networks, and communication technology
  • Preferably, familiarity with the iTop ticket system
  • Demonstrated strong customer service mindset, structured work approach, dependability, and teamwork
  • Excellent analytical and solution-driven thinking, along with effective communication abilities
  • Fluency in written and spoken German and English, and a willingness to travel. A company vehicle will be provided
