For our production site in Bünde, we are looking for a Team Lead Finance & Accounting (m/f/d)/ Accounting Team Leader.

In this role, you will ensure the smooth workflow of the accounting department, work in operational business areas such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, and lead a small team of 4 employees.

Your main tasks include:

• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS, HGB, and applicable tax law.
• Developing solutions for the accounting representation of current and new business transactions.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional departments and internal as well as external stakeholders (e.g., headquarters, auditors, sales, order management, etc.).
• Engaging in accounts receivable management.
• Additionally, ensuring the continuous development of the finance and accounting department and processes, and leading special projects.

• You have completed a degree in business economics with a focus on finance and accounting or possess a comparable qualification, ideally with further training as a certified accountant (m/f/d).
• In addition to leadership experience, you have relevant professional experience in the finance and accounting field in an international manufacturing company.
• You also have solid knowledge of financial reporting according to IFRS and HGB, as well as proficiency in financial statement preparation.
• You have a high IT affinity and excellent skills in working with SAP R/3 / S4HANA (especially FI).
• Fluency in German and English in spoken and written communication completes your profile.
• In a team environment, you focus on objective, constructive, and trusting collaboration. You work independently, methodically, and flexibly, with strong communication, persuasiveness, and analytical thinking skills.
