Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the Service-Robotics
  • Control and Planning for HRI research field within MIRMI
  • Contribute to the coordination of the Geriatronics La
  • Collaborate with project partners and stakeholders, coordinate project tasks and integration meetings, resolve issues and conflict
  • Create research and management plans, monitor the budget, make report
  • Drive publications of the research project in highimpact robotics journals and peerreviewed international conference
  • Coordinate and manage skill development for GARMI, our humanoid robot
  • Coordinate and manage technology transfer from academia to industrial partner
  • Support MIRMI lighthouse initiatives that aim to tackle humanrobot interaction challenges and healthcare robotics
  • Acquire and manage research proposals
  • Coordinate the development of the research facilities to meet the excellence of the institute's research goals
  • Support the senior management team for the management and administration of the institute.

Requirements:

  • Hold a Ph.
D. in robotics, mechatronics, computer science, or a related field

  • Possess experience and publications within
    a few of the following topics
  • Human-Robot Interaction (HRI)
  • Physical Human-Robot Interaction (pHRI)
  • Manipulation Planning and Control
  • Integrated Task and Motion Planning
  • Health-Care Robotics
  • Mobile Manipulation
  • Cooperative Manipulation
  • Multimodalities for Human-Aware Manipulation
  • Have an interest in collaborating and guiding students in areas related to activity recognition, perception, teleoperation and digital twins, biomechanics and rehabilitation robotics.
  • Previous experience as a postdoc researcher
  • Excellent research track records supported by publication
  • Experience with programming robots and C++, ROS1, or ROS
  • Previous experience with robot demonstrations
  • A wellestablished research involving interdisciplinarity in robotics and humanrobot interaction
  • High motivation and willingness to work in an international and interdisciplinary tea
  • Fluency in spoken and written Englis
  • Desired: Experience in selfreliant management of research projects, including financial and administrative aspects, and leading a team
