We supply products and services, many of them customized, in almost all industries from automotive to the wind energy markets.
Responsibilities:
- Actively maintain contact with our raw material suppliers from the chemical and petrochemical industry as a technical contact person
- Manage our raw material specifications of the existing raw material portfolio and keep them up to date
- Check possible alternatives to the raw material portfolio and define related projects with the specialist departments
- Are active in material scouting with innovative suppliers and work closely with the RD, Material Compliance, Quality Control, Purchasing and Sales departments
- Create and provide technical support for the drafting of contracts with suppliers that protect our IP and knowhow
- Advise colleagues on various issues such as developments in product design or food certified raw materials
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in the field of chemistry, chemical vocational training with several years of professional experience or comparable qualification
- Experience in supplier management
- Experience in quality management (Ishikawa, FMEA, QFD, DOE, IATF 16949, VDA 2, VDA 6.3) is advantageous
- Knowledge in food law approval issues (drinking water, kosher, halal) is desirable
- Experience in the implementation of projects is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of German, both written and spoke and fluent written and spoken English
