**RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATE BIOSTATISTICS (M/W/D)**

**IHRE AUFGABEN**:
- Sie sind in das Team Forschung & Entwicklung integriert und unterstützen den Projektmanager Quantitative Genetik.
- Sie führen eigenständig statistische Auswertungen aus den Bereichen Genetik sowie Andrologie und Biotechnologie durch.
- Sie unterstützen das Management von Phänotypen und Genotypdaten und deren Routineanalysen auf einem High Performance Cluster.
- Sie beraten die Projektmanager für Genetik und Andrologie & Biotechnologie in Bezug auf die statistische Versuchsplanung und Vorbereitung des Studiendesigns, Datenmanagement und statistischen Analysen.
- Sie führen statistische Analysen für laufende F&E-Projekte durch und übernehmen die Präsentation der erzielten Ergebnisse.
- Sie betreuen unsere Praktikanten und Auszubildenden im Bereich F&E in Bezug auf Studiendesign, Datenmanagement und -aufbereitung für die statistische Analyse.
**IHR PROFIL**:
- Sie haben einen ingenieurwissenschaftlichen Abschluss, einen Master-Abschluss oder einen gleichwertigen Abschluss im Bereich der Landwirtschaft mit hoher Affinität im Datenmanagement und -analyse ODER in Bioinformatik mit starkem Interesse an den Themen Genetik und Reproduktion im Nutztierbereich.
- Sie haben Erfahrung mit statistischen Tools und verfügen idealerweise über Grundkenntnisse in R und Linux.
- Sie sind offen für das kontinuierliche Erlernen und Anwenden neuer statistischer Methoden.
- Sie verfügen über ausgeprägtes Fachwissen im Bereich der Nutztierzüchtung.
- Sie sind in der Lage, die statistische Versuchsplanung zur Abschätzung biologischer Wirkungen auf Phänotypen und Ermittlung von Stichprobenumfängen zu entwerfen.
- Sie schätzen es sehr, im Team zu arbeiten und Ihre Kolleginnen und Kollegen im Rahmen Ihrer Aufgaben zu unterstützen.
- Unsere Unternehmenssprache ist Englisch, Sie verfügen über ausgezeichnete Englisch-kenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, Deutsch
- und/oder Französischkenntnisse sind von Vorteil
