ESMT's Learning Innovation Lab provides support to ESMT's programs for online and technology-enhanced learning, explores entrepreneurial projects and participates in thought leadership on learning innovation internally and externally.

To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a
**Student Assistant

  • Learning Innovation Lab Media**(M/F/x, parttime 20 hours/week, to start as soon as possible)

The purpose of the job is to assist the team in the development of online and blended programs and courses.


You will work in close collaboration with the Lead Media Designer and assist on various media projects

  • Submitting media for captioning and correcting captions
  • Editing newly recorded videos in Panopto webeditor
  • Helping organize Panopto video library
  • Creating quizzes in Panopto and branching video experiences in H5P
  • Targeting which videos could just be audioonly and converting/reembedding them
  • Adding and editing video chapters in Panopto
  • Improving accessibility of media (Alt text, transcripts for audio podcasts, etc). Alternatively, find tools to offer to users to be empowered to do this themselves
  • Recording tutorials for students and staff
  • Panopto trainings and responding to support requests
  • PowerPoint conversion and replacement
  • Updating and improving graphic syllabus for online programs

You are qualified for this position, because you

  • Are currently enrolled as a student in a fulltime bachelor or master program, for at least another year
  • Possess excellent communication skills and can fluently communicate in English
  • You are interested in learning and visual communication
  • Are tech savvy and know how to work on Mac
  • Have excellent time management and solid organizational skills
  • Are attentive to detail, conscientious, and responsible, with a resultsdriven approach
  • You have strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Experience in video production, Adobe, and PowerPoint are a plus
