Tasks
Your Role at ZEISS Digital Innovation
At ZEISS Digital Innovation, we craft cutting-edge health and manufacturing solutions for our clients. Leveraging our profound industry knowledge and tech expertise along with an agile mindset, we accelerate the development of innovative solutions in areas such as measurement technology, production control, and automation within the manufacturing sector. These Industry 4.0 solutions enhance productivity, minimize rework, and elevate overall quality.
As a vital part of the team, your primary focus will be ensuring the excellence of our software. Your skills will aid in enhancing our software development processes, conducting essential tests, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Your role also involves designing CI/CD and staging processes and actively engaging in client interactions to nurture relationships and unearth new opportunities.
You'll spearhead the generation of novel solutions to enhance our clients' products and business processes consistently.
Your duties will involve:
- Working closely with the innovation team to devise testing strategies for new projects
- Leading projects technically and guiding colleagues
- Maintaining client relationships
- Participating in pre-sales activities
Profile
Your Profile
If you're enthusiastic about upholding software quality standards, we'd love to hear from you.
Moreover, you should possess the following:
- Solid experience in test automation, encompassing UI and integration level testing, and proficiency in setting up automation solutions
- Advanced knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, TypeScript, and Python
- Expertise in CI/CD, establishing test automation pipelines, and implementing quality controls
- Adeptness in working with databases, IoT, IIoT, and container technologies
- Excellent communication skills in German and English for direct client interactions
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to mentor and lead junior team members
- Strong agile mindset
Additional desirable skills and background include:
- Experience in test data management
- Familiarity with DevOps practices like Docker and K8S
- Knowledge of or experience in performance testing
- Background in hardware testing and simulations
- Understanding of business requirements and direct client engagement
