KG Organization Grid Technologies Business Unit Product Management Full / Part time Full-time Experience Level Mid-level Professional A Snapshot of Your Day As a Third-Party Software Expert, you guide and support our software development teams during all steps of the software licenses clearing process. In this area, you are building the bridge between the project team, legal and procurement. You support the selection process of Third-Party software components, guide procurement during the contract negotiation and drive legal clarifications if required. You work in a multinational environment and have the opportunity to become a valuable member of our expert network. How You'll Make an Impact Analyze license terms and conditions of commercial and Open Source software used in our software projects Ensure license compliance by tracking rights, restrictions and obligations resulting from Third-Party software incorporated into our products and solutions Support our procurement in negotiation of contracts and license conditions with software vendors Advise software projects in selection and integration of Third-Party Software in our products and solutions. Mentor software projects in the area of software licenses and Third-Party Software What You Bring A degree in Computer Science or similar Many years of experience as a software developer Profound knowledge of Open Source Software licenses and commercial software contracts First experience in using OSS Clearing tools like Fossology or Blackduck Interest in legal topics like license law and contract law Digital native who likes to use tools and systems to increase working efficiency Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
