Have you always been handy with numbers? Do you keep an overview and do you ensure that there are no errors in the reports you have checked? Do you have a completed education in Controlling, Accountancy, Business Economics or Business Administration? Then read on, because we are looking for a full-time Business Controller for our site in Dormagen, Germany

What are your typical tasks in a role of Business Controller:

  • You are responsible for controlling of financial performance of our logistics center
  • Overseeing financial processes and preparing reports (weekly or monthly figures)
  • Preparation and monitoring of realization of the annual budget
  • Developing financial forecasts
  • Preparation of data, presentations and analyses for the organization
  • Initiating, developing and implementing cost optimization system
  • Identification of business risks

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Previous experience in financial controlling or a similar position
  • Thorough knowledge of financial analysis, financial and management accounting
  • Educational background in economics or finance
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (knowledge of VBA would be an advantage)
  • Proficiency in both English and German
  • Excellent communication skills, accuracy and analytical thinking
