Living in Warthausen

Warthausen is a charming rural community located amidst beautiful landscapes with approximately 5000 residents in the district of Biberach. Just about 4 km away lies the town of Biberach, offering a variety of leisure and cultural activities. Restaurants, museums, and cinemas can all be found there. Moreover, the dual-center with the Ulm / Neu-Ulm region as a university town is only a 30-minute drive away. The Lake Constance region is also reachable by car in about 30 minutes, and the lovely Allgäu region is not too far either.

Several attractions such as the Warthausen Castle, adjacent to the care facility, the Button Museum in the train station, or the "Öchsle-Bahn," a steam narrow-gauge railway that operates regularly between Warthausen and Ochsenhausen, are all within Warthausen itself.

Your Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for the social and gerontopsychiatric care of the residents
  • You will conduct occupational therapies and manage psychosocial individual and group support
  • You will ensure resident-oriented, individual basic and treatment care
  • You will continuously document and assess the implementation and impact of care measures in a comprehensible manner
  • You will uphold quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement processes
  • You will act as a point of contact for residents, customers, and relatives

Your Qualifications

  • You have a state-recognized qualification as a nursing professional, health and nursing worker, geriatric nurse, or pediatric and adolescent health nurse
  • You have further training as a gerontopsychiatric specialist according to AV PFleWogG
  • You have experience in elderly care and enjoy working with people in need of care
  • Your empathetic and responsible nature helps create a positive environment for the residents
