As Analytical Sales Manager, Germany & Switzerland, you will be responsible to lead and develop the local sales organization for our market-leading portfolio of analytical measurement solutions and have direct responsibility for all its activities. You will work in straight collaboration with the Region Europe Sales Manager by defining sales budget, targets, goals and relevant commercial strategies to achieve them in alignment with the global business line strategy. For our customers, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their needs are met with the highest level of satisfaction. You will oversee the implementation of customer-centric strategies and initiatives within the organization, working closely with the sales team to address client concerns and foster strong relationships.

Your responsibilities
  • Assume full P&L responsibility and lead/develop the local sales organization and its people according to strategy.
  • Create, plan, and implement local sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with regional and global sales strategy.
  • Ensure profitable business growth by maximizing market penetration.
  • Build and manage an effective, capable and high performing sales organization, supporting sales, marketing, tendering, project management and order handling activities.
  • Guarantee high-level satisfaction and strong partnerships with key customers while developing further relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Collaborate closely with all internal stakeholders such as product development, marketing, and operations.
  • Manage effective operations and assure agreed services are maintained through efficient business and support functions.
  • Ensure that offices follow important guidelines regarding Safety, Integrity, and business ethics.
  • Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled, and directed.
  • Coach, motivate, and develop direct and indirect team members within HR policies.
Your background
  • At least 5 years of Sales leadership experience, and at least 10 years of direct sales experience, preferably in a large global / regional business environment
  • Prior experience with analytical measurement required
  • Track record of developing and executing strategic plans and delivering results in international environment
  • Strong business acumen, industrial market experience and customer centric approach
  • Good knowledge of sales processes and tools complemented with the courage and curiosity to challenge the norm to continuously improve
  • Recognized as a strong team player, appreciated for collaboration, shaping and supporting a diverse and inclusive culture
  • Fluent verbal and written German and English skills
