Your mission

​​​​At sewts we automate what others can't. Gripping of deformable materials like textiles is a task most humans see as intuitive and simple. However, this is a complicated task for robots as they lack the detailed and contextual understanding of where and with what level of sensitivity to handle these textiles. As deep-tech enthusiasts, we teach industrial robots human perception skills. With over €10M in funding we will bring automation to the €1,500bn fashion industry to achieve our long-term vision. You will be an integral part of our Product and Operations Team, which is responsible for collaboration with our external suppliers and customers to guarantee the smooth delivery of every sewts.VELUM system. They are defining timelines and measures for system adaptations and will provide troubleshooting support and on-site feedback where needed. In a nutshell, they act as the primary contact point with all our customers until successful site acceptance and therefore a happy customer is achieved.

As our new Senior Industrial Application Engineer (m/f/d) you will be an integral part of the Product and Operations Team. You will own our customer success life cycle and provide exceptional support to our key accounts and customers ranging from assessing customer sites fit for our first product sewts.VELUM to in-site feedback. You will be leading the communication and facilitation needed between internal and external stakeholders and will be coordinating and driving these installation projects from first site visit to final customer approval.

How you will create an impact with us:

Taking full responsibility for the entire product lifecycle development and acting as a Key Account Manager for our key customers; Assessing the customer facility, existing hardware, software and infrastructure to define requirements for the engineering team and make necessary CAD adaptations & drawings; Project management and tracking of schedules, to fulfil given timelines and collaborations regarding needed changes with customers, external partners and suppliers to fulfil on-site requirements;Owning the entire customer success lifecycle; Taking full responsibility for successful Site Acceptance Tests, Production Ramp-Up and Operator Training, Supporting our Service Team with in-site feedback; Willingness to travel for 15-20% of the time, primarily within central Europe.Your profileBachelor's degree in technical studies like Mechanical-, Industrial- or Mechatronics Engineering or an apprenticeship; 2-3 years of first professional experience in a customer success, key account manager role or project management of multi-party projects; Previous working experience with CAD and design skills; A strong passion for automation technology and love for building machines, tools and creating processes around it; Mandatory professional working proficiency in German and English (written and spoken); A hands-on, proactive work style, with the ability to skillfully articulate and present your ideas.Why us?Be a part of a leading robotics and automation startup in Munich and leave an impact from day one;Develop your personal and professional skills with numerous opportunities; e.g., a yearly Learning and Development budget, Growth and Learning days, Udemy and Medium subscriptions;Benefit from our Remote Work Policy, where you spend ≥60% of your time in the office with your team members and ≤40% in Mobile Office; Engage in regular team events (e.g. barbecues, summer parties, ski trips and laser tag);Enjoy life in Munich with a competitive salary package, VSOPs, and additional monetary benefits.Your Talent Partner
