Vali is seeking an experienced
HVAC Technician / Mechanic to join our team in support efforts in
Germany. This position will be a 30-90-day mission starting as early as October 1st. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, operation setup, servicing, and repair of HVAC units. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining optimal functioning HVAC systems for a variety of buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, and set up new HVAC units to ensure proper operation.
  • Service and repair existing HVAC units, ranging from one (1) to 100 tons cooling capacity in multistory buildings.
  • Collaborate with Sheetmetal Fabricators to fabricate, assemble, and install ductwork.
  • Utilize cutting and bending equipment to shape tubing accurately.
  • Cut and thread pipes using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Connect tubing or pipes to refrigerating units using couplings, sleeves, or unions.
  • Skillfully solder joints using a torch to create complete refrigerant circuits.
  • Monitor pressure and vacuum gauges while making adjustments to ensure system efficiency.
  • Perform thorough tests on joints and connections for gas leaks using various methods.
  • Interpret and work from job plans, schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
  • Adhere to US and Host Nation building codes and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

  • United States Citizens with a current U.S. Passport.
  • Active Secret Clearance are required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of verifiable HVAC experience.
  • Graduation from a recognized vocational training school, technical training school, and/or completion of a nationally recognized training program.
  • Combination of relevant training and work experience will be considered.
  • Possession of a CPA Refrigerant Handling Certification (Universal) is mandatory.
  • Must have at a minimum an EPA 608 certification, a valid HVAC type II.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to twentyfive pounds and may frequently lift and /or move up to fifty pounds.
