Service Technician (M/F/d)

Where your expertise is needed:

  • Corrective and/or scheduled maintenance of wind turbines
  • Preparation of site and site facilities
  • Preparation of tools and equipment
  • Troubleshooting and fault finding
  • Execution of all tasks according to the applicable technical and safety instructions and regulations
  • Following the instructions and advice from relevant superior positions in the Service Team and/or Project Management Team
  • Recommending and implementing actions for continuous improvement
  • Please note that your role shall be further defined according to your position in the Service Team

What we're looking for:

  • German citizenship or right to work and willingness to relocate in Germany (This is NOT a rotational position and applicants would be expected to reside in specified location)
  • At least one year of experience working in wind turbines installation or service
  • GWO Basic Safety Training and a culture for safety and quality
  • Electrical certification and/or mechanical certification
  • Experience in, and certification for, electrical switching is desirable
  • Good mechanical skills and good handling of tools and equipment (ability to climb ladders of 100+ meters and to work at heights)
  • Ability to work and perform within teams and under challenging conditions
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents as well as to prepare documents and reports
  • Willingness to selfimprove and to also help others improve as well as a problemsolving mindset and a proactive approach
  • Good communication skills in both German and English and a driver's license category B (preferable)
