Stellenbeschreibung

Während Ihres Praktikums unterstützen Sie die Konzeption und die Implementierung von Simulations-Workflows, einschließlich der Einrichtung von Software-Schnittstellen, Datenhandlings und Software-Orchestrierung zur Automatisierung umfangreicher multiphysikalischer Simulationen. Sie helfen bei der Softwareentwicklung von der Ideenfindung bis zur Implementierung und dem Test in einem interdisziplinären Team aus Wissenschaftler:innen, Software- und Webentwickler:innen. Darüber hinaus entwickeln Sie Algorithmen zur Datenverarbeitung (ETL), Visualisierung, Datenmodellierung und evaluieren den Einsatz von Methoden des maschinellen Lernens für spezifische Anwendungen. Ihre Tätigkeit umfasst die Entwicklung neuer Python-Softwaremodule als Teil des gesamten Simulations-Workflows. Nicht zuletzt sind Sie für die Aufrechterhaltung der Codequalität verantwortlich, durch Clean Coding, Test Driven Development, Versionskontrolle.

Qualifikationen

Ausbildung: Studium im Bereich Ingenieurwissenschaften, Informatik, Naturwissenschaften, Software-Engineering oder vergleichbar Erfahrungen und Know-how: sehr gute Programmierkenntnisse in Python (insbesondere Pandas, PyTorch, Plotly) einschließlich Versionskontrolle ( Git) und objektorientierter Programmierung; Arbeiten auf Linux-Systemen; Erfahrung in der Erstellung und im Umgang mit Datenmodellen; Kenntnisse in numerischen Simulationsmethoden und maschinellem Lernen sind von Vorteil Persönlichkeit und Arbeitsweise: kommunikativ, strukturiert und kreativ Begeisterung: Leidenschaft für "alles automatisieren" Sprachen: sehr gutes Deutsch und/oder Englisch
