ZOLL products are used every day across the globe to save the lives of people who suffer sudden cardiac arrest.
Location:
Cologne (Rodenkirchen) with 2 days home office
Fluency in English and German are mandatory
Job summary:
The HRBP supports and enhances the corporate culture while providing HR guidance and support to ZOLL employees in Germany and Austria.
Essential Functions:
- Supports with aspects of employee relations including investigations, documentation and problem solving.
- Interprets HR policies and procedures for employees and managers and makes recommendations for potential improvements.
- Complies with national employment laws and Collective Agreements.
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of various training and development presentations to employees.
- Provides (administrative) activities regarding hiring, compensation, leave and firing.
- Provide HRIS support as needed.
- Conducts new employee orientations, employee relations counseling, Employee surveys and exit interviews.
- Support HR management with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Support management with ISO projects and Health & Safety coordination.
- Contributes to ongoing improvement of the EMEA HR team.
- Works on special projects relating to the development/modification of local and EMEA wide HR programs and procedures.
- Responding to employees' HRrelated inquiries.
- Partner with Human Resources colleagues on employee relations and performance management issues and seek legal guidance when necessary.
Required/Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources management.
- 10+ years related experience.
- Effective working knowledge of Employment law, Employee Leave of Absences and HRIS.
- Demonstrated project and time management skills, with an ability to set and maintain priorities to meet deadlines.
- The ability to work in a fastpaced, multicultural environment; handle a multitude of tasks; and adapt to change.
- Discretion around sensitive company and employee information.
- Prior experience with Workday and payroll would be advantageous
- International traveling 5%.
