Our delivery partners are essential to our service, and we collaborate closely with them to ensure that deliveries, both large and small, reach their destinations efficiently.
As a Third Party Logistics Manager at Amazon, your main role is to cultivate strong relationships with our partners. You will establish connections, assist in streamlining delivery processes, and address any challenges they may encounter, all aimed at fostering a successful long-term partnership.
Key Responsibilities:- Partner with Safety and Regional Managers to ensure business safety compliance.
- Guide owners in scaling their businesses and managing operational issues.
- Support owners during the onboarding process and launch phases.
- Coach business owners to run compliant, safe, and high-performing companies.
- Identify and address workflow inefficiencies and operational improvements.
- Enhance the relationship between Amazon and our DSP partners.
- Communicate effectively with DSP business owners and OTR partners.
- Represent the DSP within the AMZL business.
- Coach partners on utilizing tools effectively and improving customer metrics.
- Ensure consistent application of Last Mile processes.
- Elevate driver standards to maintain the brand image.
You will be stationed at one of our facilities, allowing you to oversee the delivery process closely and support our logistics partners effectively. Your role involves maintaining clear communication with the partners to ensure smooth delivery operations.
About the Team:
Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, manages 'last mile' delivery operations in collaboration with third-party distributors. We are dedicated to enhancing the delivery experience for our customers and implementing global delivery solutions for services like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.
Our team focuses on operational efficiency, with round-the-clock shifts at our locations, ensuring that products reach our customers accurately and on time. We also work on innovative delivery services, constantly striving to improve customer experience and lessen our environmental impact through advanced vehicles and technology.
Basic Qualifications:
- Relevant degree.
- Experience in Operations, Last Mile, account/relationship management, or small business logistics.
- Experience with data analytics to address performance issues.
- Proficiency in written and verbal German.
- Experience in process improvements through Lean process, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.
- Effective communication skills with various stakeholders.
