With a diverse workforce of approximately 2900 employees and trainees in 100 different professions, including engineers, doctors, social workers, and more, Oberhausen offers a dynamic work environment in a region rich in cultural and leisure activities.

As part of the implementation of the state program 'Local Integration Management NRW' (KIM), we are strengthening the municipal level and promoting intra-municipal cooperation to enhance local integration processes.

  • Cross-sectoral case management for the integration of immigrants under the KIM-NRW program
  • Implementation of a strategic management level (Component 1)
  • Operational management of individual case management (Component 2)
  • Legal consolidation of integration services for foreign individuals (Component 3)

In line with Component 2 of the KIM program, we are creating additional Case Management positions locally to provide support and guidance to immigrants within the community.

Working in a cross-organizational team and closely connected to the local integration network, you will coordinate services and provide individualized support to immigrants.

  • Facilitating access to counseling services in the community
  • Conducting cross-sectoral individual counseling tailored to the specific needs of immigrants
  • Coordinating various support services
  • Documenting and evaluating work results
  • Referral services to other programs with their own case management
  • Contributing to municipal analyses and concept developments for enhancing local service structures
  • Completed degree in Social Work (Diploma/Bachelor) or equivalent
  • Practical experience in individual counseling and/or integration work
  • Additional qualifications in Case Management are desirable
  • Solid knowledge of integration-related service systems
  • Abilities to manage network and service processes
  • Proficient in Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Strong social and intercultural competence
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Strong team player and collaborator
  • Willingness to participate in training sessions and attend meetings outside regular working hours
