Job ID: 103146 / Location: Trier / Start: As soon as possible / Contract type: permanent Your job mission: The incumbent contributes significantly to maintaining high standards of quality across product development and technical projects. This position is responsible for planning and coordinating analyses performed by the Quality Assurance (QA) laboratory ensuring the timely availability of samples for R&D teams and sensory evaluation panels. Additional responsibilities include incoming goods inspection, inventory management and control, and preparation for customs audits. Visit us at www.jti.com to find out more about JTI and what it's like to work for us. Your tasks: Timely coordination of Quality Assurance laboratory analyses for all product development and technical projects within various R&D departments Preparation of Product Development samples, including ordering registration, and inventory management for all test productsPhysical handling of Product Development samples and submission to Quality AssuranceInventory management and ensuring compliance with tax and customs regulations, including preparation for audits and reporting documents Support for the Product Development and Sensory teams in collecting and preparing samples for internal and panel evaluations Support for special projects and studies within Research & Development (QIMS – specifications and measurement profiles) Coordination and execution of Product Development sample shipments to other locations Your profile: Relevant educational background: Successfully completed commercial education, further education in a commercial/business-related field is advantageous Practical experience: Initial professional experience in the PD (Product Development) or QA (Quality Assurance) department is preferred Valuable knowledge: Knowledge in inventory management and customs and tax regulations Special strengths: Team spirit and strong service orientation, very good communication skills across diverse stakeholder groups / Attentive to detail with good organizational capabilities / Proficient in MS Office programs (especially Excel) as well as in Inventory/Warehouse Management System / Good English skills (written and spoken)Suitable personality: Open minded, positive attitude, willingness to learn, flexibility Practiced working time model: Flextime  Your benefits: Your team: You will work in an open and international working environment with approx. 60 nations at the Trier site.Your remuneration: Above-average pay with a current starting salary of 4.224,50 € gross monthly salary with a guaranteed annual salary increase in the first 5 years as well as a 13th and 14th monthly salary.
