We are currently looking for the right person to join our Business Line SAMSS as a: Radar System Engineer (m/f) - CDD - 2 yearsLocated in Bissen / Luxembourg Your responsibilities would include:Being the engineering lead in product function development programsParticipating in assessing development ideas and generating the necessary engineering recommendations to pursue or not pursue product ideasTransferring of generic customer and stakeholder specifications into IEE system requirementsEnsuring that our generic product is developed to customer needsDefining and supporting system test conceptsPerforming engineering releases of system conceptsLeading design FMEAsPresenting technical topics internally to customers and suppliersSetting up and maintaining Engineering Configuration Management in close collaboration with the Program and Department Manager You would need to meet the following requirements:Academic degree in electrical engineeringExcellent knowledge and understanding of state-of-the-art radar technologyA high level of knowledge and considerable experience in:Physics and signal processing related to automotive radar systemsGeneral automotive electronics development (hardware and software)Automotive system requirement analysis and developmentAutomotive development processesMethods to identify and manage technical risksUnderstanding of vehicle packaging and component integrationExperience in:MATLAB, DOORS, IQFMEAMS OfficeVersion control software SVNExcellent communication, negotiation, analytical, problem-solving and team working skillsGood organizational skillsFluency in English (spoken and written); German or French is considered an asset Why would you want to work with us?At IEE we’re dynamic, motivated, and solution-oriented.
