The UNICORNField Application Specialist for Cytiva is responsible forperforming advanced post-installation hands-on training andconsulting for customers.
Thisposition is part of the Bioprocess Product & ApplicationSupport team located in Europe and will be fully remote. At Cytiva,our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery todelivery.
What youwill do:
- Performadvanced post-installation hands-on training and consulting forcustomers; deliver high level hands-on application support tochromatography customers and support with process optimization andprocess transfer; provide expert technical support for users, e.g.,troubleshooting, including on-site process-connected problemsolving.
- Provide largescale column packing training, support andtroubleshooting.
- Activelysupport the sales process for UNICORN controlled chromatographysystems and BioProcess columns in the field of process developmentand manufacturing by advising in sales discussions, givingpresentations and hands-ondemonstrations.
- Deliverinput to Marketing and R&D and Management with particular focuson customer comments, market info and competitor practices; developand present ideas for improvements and new solutions - technicaldevelopments and demands, new processes and unit operations;provide industrially focused chromatography and UNICORN trainingfor Cytiva personnel, asrequested.
- Participatein and support global initiatives in education, consulting, andtechnical support; prepare, execute and wrap up Standard and Customcourses, lecturing and hands-on lab work/teaching required;contribute to updating and development of new courses, practicalexercises and coursematerials.
Whoyouare:
- Educated inLife Sciences with University level, MSc or equivalent; with atleast 3 years’ experience in Downstream processing in a large-scaleindustrialenvironment.
- Knowledgeablein chromatography, filtration, biotechnology,GMP
- Fluent in Englishand preferably at least one other Europeanlanguage
- Team player with abilityto work in multi-culturalenvironment
- Effective incommunication and presentationskills
- Goal oriented,creative, flexible and wellorganized
- Mustbe prepared to travel up to 70 %, mainly inEurope.
Itwould be a plus if you also possess previous experiencein:
- DeltaV orother automationsoftware
