We are currently looking for a passionate Motor Fleets Underwriter to join a dynamic, international company. As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for analyzing fleet-related risks, proposing risk minimization strategies and developing insurance conditions tailored to customer needs. Description

  • Make sure you conduct detailed analyses to assess fleet-related risks. Identify the main risk factors and propose strategies to minimize them.
  • Develop insurance terms and conditions that are tailored to customers' needs, while guaranteeing the company's profitability. Ensure that conditions are clearly defined and beneficial to all parties.
  • Implement a competitive pricing strategy that will attract new customers while ensuring optimum profitability for the company. Keep abreast of market trends and regulatory developments.
  • Regularly monitor the fleet portfolio, identifying growth opportunities and anticipating customer needs. Be proactive in managing customer accounts and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Listen to customers' needs and be ready to negotiate adjustments to rates, coverages or deductibles if necessary. Look for win-win solutions that meet the expectations of both parties.
  • Report regularly to your P&C Corporate Underwriting Manager, highlighting portfolio performance, any challenges encountered and growth opportunities identified.

Profile

  • Education: You have a degree (Bac+4/5 or equivalent) in Insurance, Management or Economics.
  • Interpersonal and sales skills: Your negotiating skills, interpersonal skills and active listening skills will enable you to build and maintain lasting, strategic relationships with customers, agents and brokers.
  • Professional experience: You have 5 years' significant experience in an insurance company, agency or brokerage.
  • Methodical and rigorous: You are organized and precise, with a thorough understanding of insurance law.
  • Team spirit: You can easily integrate into a collaborative dynamic and work effectively with your colleagues.
  • Proactivity and responsiveness: Your commitment and responsiveness are essential assets to ensure your success in this role.
  • Language skills: You have a perfect command of French and English. Knowledge of Luxembourgish and/or German would be a plus.
  • Office tools: You are at ease with IT and office tools.
  • Writing skills: You have strong writing skills and are able to present clear, structured information in writing.
