Senior Litigation Lawyer

Gentis, a leading recruitment firm in Luxembourg, is seeking a qualified professional for a prominent client within the Litigation and Dispute Resolution sector. Our client, a distinguished firm in Luxembourg, is renowned for its commitment to customer satisfaction. Responsibilities:

• Managing pre-litigation and litigation cases, focusing on the corporate, banking, and real estate sectors.
• Providing pre-litigation advice and participating in settlement negotiations.
• Representing clients in court and arbitration proceedings.
• Drafting procedural documents including court applications, motions, written submissions, and preparing legal exhibits and evidence.
• Preparing client memoranda and drafting contracts and formal notices.
• Conducting research in commercial, civil, labor, and criminal law areas.
• Sharing updates on legal developments, regulations, case law, and legal doctrine during bi-weekly department meetings.
• Assisting other legal departments within the firm.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in litigation, ideally with a distinguished law firm in Luxembourg. Expertise in employment law is a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of civil, commercial, and employment law.
• Registration with the Luxembourg Bar, preferably "Liste I."
• Fluency in French and English is required; proficiency in German and/or Luxembourgish is considered an advantage.
• Exceptional writing skills and a creative, pragmatic, and solution-focused approach.
• Strong dedication, collaborative spirit, and effective communication skills are essential.
