   We are looking for aSenior Risk Analyst (m/f/d) (unlimited, full-time) Join our team at our location in Berlin, Amsterdam, Heerenveen, Verl, Baden-Baden, Oslo or Stockholm – flexible working conditions available  We are looking for an (Senior) Analyst for our Risk Analytics team with a hands-on attitude that is keen to have an impact on our risk assessment by mitigating risk in terms of affordability / solvency for the external end customer in a balanced risk decision environment. The focus of the team lies on defining our risk strategy, its (further) development and the constant monitoring and steering according to it. In line with the company's overarching vision to become the most human-centric FinTech, the Risk Analytics team develops appropriate customer risk strategies for different markets and ecosystems. The organization is characterized by technology-based rapid learning and decision-making cycles and guided by a strong common purpose to jointly create value for all stakeholders. Strong footprint in DACH/NL & Nordics with further expansion ambition within Europe, e. g. UK. The main responsibilities of the Senior Risk Analyst (m/f/d) are:Actively contributing in a high-performing team of credit risk & analytics expertsContinuous improvement of underlying data analysis and existing business processes to support our product expansion in new areasContribute with risk insights to pricing requests and is in close contact with various internal stakeholders for various analytical requirementsEstablish best practices for ad-hoc & deep dive analysesActive participation in cross-functional team "Risk Data Science" working on giant-leap changes in machine learning based models etc.Furthermore you interact with the BI experts to improve overall monitoring/reporting and the application of advanced analyticsYou will work in close collaboration with other functions such as Risk Product (RPS), Fraud Risk Steering, Data Science, Finance, etcThe function is reporting into the Risk Analytics & Steering Lead, which is reporting into the Functional Unit Lead Customer Risk. What you should bring:You have a proven track-record in working in data analytics, ideally within the fast growing payment industry / fintech universeRelevant experience in a credit risk management environmentExpertise in using various programming languages like SQL (mandatory) or Python and R (nice to have) to perform complex analytical tasksYou have experience in working in an international, agile, cross-functional environmentYou embrace new technology and understand the potential of data and advanced analyticsYou are a strategic thinker with vision and a strong operator - you get things doneLanguage: English (mandatory) ; German or Dutch is a plus Our plus points: Inclusive and valuing culture: At Riverty, you can be who you are.
