Als engagierter STACKITEER bist du Teil des Geschäftsbereichs STACKIT Go2Market. Hier werden unsere Produkte und Services am Markt erfolgreich platziert und beworben. Auch das Onboarding neuer Cloud-Nutzer und die Unterstützung bei Cloud-Migrationen fällt in diesen Bereich.

Deine Aufgaben

Als Engineering Manager IaaS bist du für die Weiterentwicklung und die Leitung eines Infrastruktur-Entwicklungsteams verantwortlich. Hier entwickeln wird die stabile und performante Basis entwickelt, um moderne Cloud Anwendungen zu ermöglichen

  • Führung und Mitarbeiterentwicklung: Als Engineering Manager IaaS (m/w/d) bist du ein erfahrener Softwareentwickler mit starkem Infrastruktur-Background und stellst durch deine Führung sicher, dass dein Team seine Ziele erreicht und kontinuierlich qualitativ hochwertige Lösungen ausliefert. Dabei förderst du die individuellen Stärken deiner Mitarbeiter und hilfst ihnen aktiv bei ihrer Weiterentwicklung, indem du beispielsweise in Code Reviews, Pair Programming oder als Sparring Partner bei Architekturfragen aktiv als Teil des Teams mitwirkst. Du agierst als Servant Leader und führst durch deine Überzeugungskraft. Dabei gehst du mit einer lösungsorientierten Hands-on Mentalität stets als Vorbild voraus und gestaltest so aktiv die Kultur von STACKIT
  • Hiring: Du suchst und findest die richtigen Kandidaten, um das Wachstum von STACKIT erfolgreich zu ermöglichen und die Qualität unserer Arbeit weiter zu steigern
  • Architektur und Technologieauswahl: Du trägst zusammen mit dem Team maßgeblich zu Technologie- und Architekturentscheidungen bei
  • Collaboration: Du förderst die Selbstständigkeit der Teams und trägst aktiv dazu bei auch teamübergreifend die Zusammenarbeit kontinuierlich zu verbessern
Dein Profil
  • Du bist ein Servant Leader mit der Leidenschaft, Personen auf ihrem Weg zu begleiten und nach ihren individuellen Bedürfnissen zu fördern
  • Du hast die notwendigen Fähigkeiten auch in einem schnellen, komplexen Umfeld stets den Überblick zu behalten. Selbst bei verschiedenen, konkurrierenden Prioritäten behältst du den Blick fürs Große und Ganze und schaffst es, bestmögliche Ergebnisse zu liefern
  • Exzellenter technischer Kommunikator - auch im Umgang mit verschiedenen Zielgruppen
  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Softwareentwicklung in den Sprachen Golang und Python
  • Mehrjährige Erfahrung in komplexen Infrastruktur-Umgebungen in den Bereichen Compute, Virtualisierung und Netzwerk
  • Sehr gutes OpenStack und Kubernetes Know-how
  • Optimalerweise mehrjährige Erfahrung in Entwicklung und Betrieb von Cloud Services
