This position offers a unique opportunity to gain and strengthen experience in portfolio management and be exposed to numerous projects mainly in Real Estate, Private Equity and Infrastructure asset classes. The successful candidate will join the alternative investment team to assist with the assessment and execution of investment / divestment opportunities and the monitoring of the existing portfolio assets. This role may also require helping with the coordination and supervision of independent investment advisors. The successful candidate will support the team in dealing with multiple alternative funds, such as Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Debt, Funds of Funds, and will actively participate to the development of Portfolio Management process and technical changes to applications used by FundSight S.A., in partnership with IT, Compliance, Risk and Valuation teams. 1.    Key Responsibilities Support the team in reviewing the proposed investment and divestment transactions for our illiquid portfolio, ensuring compliance with AIFMD and CSSF regulations and alignment with fund’s objective and risk appetiteAssist in reviewing portfolios exposures and take appropriate action to ensure portfolio complianceHelp monitoring Cash-flow positions for funds under management, i.e. capital calls, distributions, capital account statements, etc.Contribute to the organization, prepare and actively contribute to the Investment Committees and investment reports for the funds under managementPrepare portfolio performance reviews related to the ongoing portfolio management dutiesWork alongside senior team members and the Risk Management team to assist in monitoring investment Key Risk Indicators 2.   Profile Bachelor and above in Finance, Economics, Business or a related field – and ideally a path towards acquiring CFA/FRM.Familiarity with financial accounting, corporate finance and business reportingSound business judgment and an analytical, pragmatic approach to problem solving.Highly disciplined, self-starter, ability to execute on assignments independentlyQuantitative skills and familiarity with programming languages (Python, R, VBA) are a plus.Interpersonal skills to enable relationship building with colleagues, clients and advisors.Highly disciplined, self-starter, ability to execute on assignments independentlyLanguages & Communication: English is mandatory (French or German would be considered as an asset). An internship agreement is mandatory. If you are interested in taking up this opportunity, please send us your application letter with detailed curriculum vitae via Moovijob.com (reference: “Internship Portfolio Management Alternatives Investments Team”).Each application will be treated with the strictest confidentiality.(Prior to the conclusion of the working agreement, a copy of an official criminal record (bulletin no.3), issued for less than 2 months, will be required for consultation purposes)
