Summary

About the Position:

Serves as the 7th Army Global Combat Support System (GCSS-Army) senior subject matter expert (SME) responsible for one or more system business areas, conducts enterprise integration and operational sustainment management matters related to the assigned business areas within GCSS-Army systems.



Duties
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance via telephone, email or on site unit visits.
  • Interpret/analyze and evaluate changes in regulations, directives, or proposed 7th Army policy to assess impact as to the level and method of automated data systems support required.
  • Responsible for developing, analyzing, integrating, evaluating, advising on, and improving architectures and development processes and procedures.
  • Provide lifecycle management oversight for all 7th Army GCSS-Army systems.
  • provides sustainment level system support for GCSS-Army for all retail supply support activities (SSA) operations in 7th Army.
