As the Vice President of Product Management (m/f/d) for SAP Signavio Process AI, you will lead our flagship AI-driven process optimization suite to new heights of innovation, market penetration, and customer success. This role requires a visionary leader who can blend technology, business insights, and a deep understanding of customer needs to drive the development and execution of our product strategy.
What you'll do
- Lead the product management practice around AI and GenAI. Support other key domains such as process mining and process management
- Establish and articulate a transformative vision for the Process AI product line, ensuring it remains at the forefront of the industry
- Establish a compelling strategic framework for all existing product lines to move towards AI and GenAI adoption
- Align with engineering head and technical leadership on the short-term and long-term needs. Ensure alignment with SAP and Business AI strategy
- Leverage proven expertise to continuously assess the market, technology trends, and the competitive landscape, leveraging your background in product management within the AI, ML, and process optimization spaces
- Strengthen and manage strategic relationships with vendors and technology partners, drawing on your experience in creating and nurturing external product partnerships and go-to-market models
- Make impactful decisions on strategic direction and prioritization, ensuring alignment with SAP's broader business and AI strategy
- Act as a key evangelist for AI at SAP Signavio. Speaking at events, delivering internal enablement activities, supporting trade shows, and engaging with analysts/media
What you bring
- 10-15+ years of experience in product management and customer success, including roles as VP Product, Chief Product Owner, Chief Product Officer both in SAP and outside SAP. Preferred multi-year experience at another process mining vendor.
- Experience in defining and launching B2B Analytics, AI and ML based products. Familiarity with ML, LLMs, Data Science and advanced analytics. Preferred multi-year experience at LLM or LLM-toolchain vendor.
- Complete product cycle experience from Idea to Commercialization for at least one process mining product and/or one LLM-based product
- Demonstrated the ability to lead teams and products to unprecedented success
- Extensive experience working in customer-facing roles and managing large strategic customers across different industries. Ability to align product development with customer needs and market demand effectively. Preferred multi-year experience in customer success, consulting or sales roles.
- Deep understanding of a wide range of technologies, market trends around process management, and business transformation, underpinned by a strong foundation in computer science and management information systems
- Extensive experience in product management ideally around artificial intelligence and Generative AI. Broad understanding with data and analytics technologies in SAP and outside SAP.
- Ability to translate technologically complex concepts into compelling and understandable messages and potential business value – for top executives, transformation leaders, etc.
- Exceptional ability to manage relationships with senior leadership, C-suite, and key stakeholders
- High proficiency with process analytic tools, ideally already from the SAP SIGNAVIO Suite including Process Insights, Process Intelligence, Process Manager
- Demonstrated ability to make complex decisions collaboratively and transparently
- Preferred Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, physics, mathematics, business or relevant field of study
- Extensive C-suite network in process mining and Generative AI space
- Willingness to travel
