PerkinElmer is looking for a motivated, experienced Regional General Manager with P&L responsibility for EMEAI to accelerate growth of our Perten instrumentation business, which tests quality and performance in the food Industry. The successful candidate for this position will be expected to successfully lead local teams, driving revenue and margin growth across the region.

This leader will manage diverse sub-regions which includes W. Europe, Middle East, Africa, and India. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated team leader with a proven track record of delivering significant market share gains in specialized business-to-business environments, and establishing a high-performance culture that promotes strong P&L ownership and accountability.

Job Responsibilities

P&L ownership and strategic direction for Perten’s EMEAI business, including management of multiple sub-P&Ls.Develop, articulate, and execute a strategic business plan to drive business growth and profitability (EBITDA), identifying new opportunities for expansion and market penetration, including channel mix.Implement effective performance metrics to evaluate, optimize operational efficiency, and report consistently and effectively on progress to business leadership.Lead and inspire cross functional commercial teams including sales, service, and field applications.Attract and develop top-tier commercial team, instilling a high-performance culture with strong ownership and accountability.Manage the local sales team within DACH, PL, and BeNeLux.Develop a strong, working technical knowledge of the portfolio of products serving food markets, including identifying long term business development opportunities.Stay abreast of the competitive landscape and emerging trends.Collaborate with global business stakeholders on cross-regional growth initiatives as a member of the Perten Leadership Team.Drive operational excellence in the region, optimizing commercial footprint and scale.Remote home office base, however, this position does require a willingness to travel 25-50%.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree10+ years of sales or service experience in a business-to-business sales environment selling capital equipment.Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and EBITDA growth.5+ years of experience leading people.Strategic thinker. Strong bias for action while considering potential outcomes from multiple angles.Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

P&L ownership experience across multiple countries5+ years’ experience in the food testing industry.Proven ability to manage and grow a €20M+ business.Aptitude to learn new systems and retain technical information.
