To strengthen our team, we are looking for at the earliest possible date for our Corporate Center at our location in Cologne:IT Procurement & License Management Specialist (m/f/d) Job Description
  • Create, implement, and operate an enterprise-wide:
    • IT procurement,
    • IT software license management.
  • Manage licenses and ensure license compliance for all software products.
  • Handle software procurement and process orders.
  • Establish a procurement strategy and optimize the procurement roadmap regarding the IT strategy.
  • Manage software assets.
  • Handle support and service requests related to software procurement/license management.
  • Support annual budget planning regarding maintenance costs as well as necessary license renewals in the fiscal year.
  • Manage contracts for the entire IT portfolio.
  • Set up and regularly report key performance indicators (e.g. monthly target/actual cost comparison, monthly accruals, reports for Head of IT Management, CIO, Executive Board, parent company).
  • Co-responsibly support in the preparation of RFI/RFP and collaborate in projects.
Qualification
  • Degree in Information Technology / Business Informatics or comparable knowledge to those courses of study.
  • 3-5 years of experience in:
    • IT license and procurement management.
  • Accounting or financial knowledge is an advantage.
  • Certifications in ITIL are an advantage.
  • High self-motivation and ability to work under pressure in critical situations.
  • High sense of responsibility and reliability.
  • Good self-organization skills.
  • Ability to cooperate and work in a team.
  • Willingness for own further development, open to criticism and open-mindedness.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Presentation and negotiation skills in German and English.
