Job Description

Data Analyst and Release Manager (m/f/d)

Philips is seeking a Cloud Platform Support Data Analyst and Release Manager. This role combines responsibilities of providing data analysis support for our cloud platforms with overseeing release management processes. The successful candidate will work as part of a  global team of specialists to provide Level 2 support to ensure smooth and efficient operations, contribute to strategic decision-making through data insights, and manage the end-to-end release process for cloud-based applications.


Your role:

Data Analysis:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to identify trends and insights.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics.

  • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve platform performance and user experience.

  • Automate data collection and reporting processes.

Release Management:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee the release of updates and new features to the cloud platform.

  • Ensure that releases are deployed smoothly and meet quality standards.

  • Maintain documentation related to release processes, including release notes and deployment guides.

  • Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure timely and successful releases.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between IT, development teams, and business stakeholders.

  • Provide regular updates on cloud platform performance, issues, and release status.

  • Gather requirements and feedback from stakeholders to inform platform improvements and release planning.


You're the right fit if:

  • Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Tableau).

  • Experience with release management tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines).

  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.

  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, or release management and preferably cloud support and ideally DevOps

  • Experience in Helpdesk or Service Centre Support activities.

  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a global and diverse team environment.

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Other languages will be an asset
