What you do

The Product & Underwriting Governance team is part of the Cross Line of Business (LoB) team within Allianz Partners. The main responsibility is to define rules & cornerstones for the Product & Underwriting population located around the world while fostering Cross-LoB solutions, collaboration, and alignment.

Reporting to the Head of Product & Underwriting Governance, in this role you will be pivotal in shaping and executing AzP and LoB strategy.

Product & Underwriting Governance team translates various requirements (including Allianz group, AzP CEO, as well as external (legal and regulatory) requirements) into tangible rules and recommendations for AzP. Particular focus in the coming years will be shift to an analytical portfolio management view, while harmonizing processes in the different LoB's and bringing various internal stakeholder onboard.

As the Product & Governance team is currently being extended, there are lot of opportunities to suggest and introduce efficiency or quality improving measures.   • Independently establish professional end-to-end reporting relating to Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM's) while interacting with various international, internal stakeholders across Allianz group's Operating Entities (OE's)
  • Develop & automate mechanisms that allow tracking / automatic report generation based on stakeholder's requirements
  • Prepare regular analysis and reporting that will be utilized for various management meetings
  • Support reporting as required in the Product & Underwriting Control & Governance Framework & follow-up on necessary inputs by various teams


What you bring

  • 2+ years of practical experience within Insurance industry, ideally within Product & Underwriting, Finance & Controlling, or Actuarial
  • Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally within Business Administration, Finance & Controlling, Actuarial, or a related field
  • Fluent business English (verbal and in writing) & experience working independently in a global, digital environment with strong IT user skills (in particular Microsoft Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Salesforce, SAP)
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to quickly translate requirements into outputs (visual reports, dashboards, etc.) that meet business needs,
  • Consulting experience advantageous
