What you'll do


We are looking for a student (f/m/d) to support the ISBN Business Development Team in MEE. The working student (f/m/d) will help to engage with the ISBN Sales teams and supports a broad range of activities – from supporting Business Development activities like pipeline meetings and analyses to demand generation activities and administrative tasks. As the ideal candidate (f/m/d), you will demonstrate a high degree of personal responsibility and flexibility. You are an out-of-the-box thinker with a creative mind, motivated and you can easily familiarize yourself with new, innovative topics. Ideally you have extensive experience with MS Office and you have an eye for good slide design.

 

The following tasks & opportunities await you in this role:

 

  • Support in Business Development activities like pipeline meetings, pipeline creation, win/loss analysis, etc.
  • Support in Demand Generation activities (Cold calling, Outreach etc.) 
  • Support in Team meetings and enablement
  • Administrative support for ongoing projects within the Business Development team and the COO office 
  • Drive projects or regularly recurring tasks independently

 

What you bring

 

  • Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
  • Preferred fields of study:  Business administration, Economics, Procurement and Supply Chain, Business Informatics or comparable fields of study
  • Computer skills: MS Office Professional (especially pptx and xlsx), Sharepoint/MS Teams 
  • Language skills: Excellent German and fluent English skills (both spoken and written) 
  • Soft skills: Open-minded personality and a thorough, results-oriented approach to problem solving, team-orientation, creativity and flexibility, ability to work independently, fast learner with an eye for detail 
  • Others: 
    • Excellent presentation and communication skills, experience with platforms like LinkedIn or Outreach would be a plus
    • Procurement knowledge or familiarity with procurement processes is an advantage 
    • Prior work experience in related field is an advantage

As a working student (f/m/d) you will support both our agile Value Advisory and Business Development teams. These teams work closely with other cross-functional groups to execute critical programs and change initiatives for our business.

 

Value Advisory Team:

 

Focused on helping customers realize the full potential of SAP's cloud solutions, this team provides strategic insights and value propositions, aiding customers in their digital transformation and positioning them for future market challenges.

 

Business Development Team:

 

This team aims to acquire new customers and expand relationships with existing ones. By driving customer engagement and identifying opportunities, they ensure SAP's innovative solutions lead customers' digital transformation journeys.

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
