Goose Recruitment are seeking a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) with proficient German and English skills to join an experienced accounting team. Our client is an established and expanding Aviation company based in Germany. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and reliable operation of our financial processes.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of financial accounting
  • Oversee Credit Control and Factoring activities
  • Monitor liquidity and prepare financial statements
  • Compile monthly financial statements and controlling data
  • Execute budgeting and projections
  • Handle advance sales tax returns and VAT audits
  • Maintain DATEV system, including master data, accounts, and cost centers
  • Act as a key user of departmental software
  • Collaborate with auditors and tax advisors
  • Prepare documents for external audits, such as factoring, LBA, tax office, and customs
  • Generate evaluations for management
  • Perform Intercompany Allocations
  • Provide accounting support for foreign affiliated companies
Your Profile:
  • Commercial vocational training, preferably with additional training as an accountant (m/f/d), or relevant experience
  • Minimum of three years' professional experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Proficient with industry-specific systems and MS Office programs
  • Strong command of written and spoken English & German
  • Commercial mindset, analytical skills, and numerical proficiency
  • Initiative, motivation, and commitment to teamwork
  • High standards for quality work
