In this role, you’ll:

 

  • Actively support the internal communication efforts of SAP’s IT organization called Intelligent Enterprise Solutions (IES).
  • Work with communications colleagues of the Business Operations team in the fields of project management and moving the communication strategy into action and thereby gain insights into the operations of one of the world’s leading IT organizations.
  • Work with colleagues from other departments from all over the world in terms of communication as well as project management to understand the full scope of IES’ operations.
  • Prepare and facilitate meetings or provide event management support and take ownership for dedicated event and/or project formats.
  • Writing and editing various internal communications assets for the entire IES organization.
  • Conduct research and prepare communication materials for the team and the IES organization to accelerate cultural change and transformation.

 

Who you are:


You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stay curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Preferred fields of study: Business Administration / Business Informatics / Marketing / Communications / Media or related fields in Humanities
  • Computer skills: Office 365 (Advanced)
  • Language skills: Business fluent in German and English
  • Project Management experience
  • Soft skills: Team player, enthusiastic, open-minded, customer-oriented, communicative, self-driven, reliable
  • Nice-to-have: Experience with social media management, video editing or graphic design tools; knowledge about latest trends in Information Technology and first experience with strategy development, marketing, brand development are a plus.

 

This student position is targeted at someone who is interested in writing different kinds of business-related input and enjoys creating different communication materials such as internal blogs, e-mails, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

 

Meet your team


Our Intelligent Enterprise Solutions Business Operations team (mainly based in Walldorf, Germany) supports the Chief Digital and Information Officer (CDIO) of SAP and other teams in our organization of over 4,000 employees.

 

Our team combines Communications, Business Operations, Strategy Operationalization, Cultural Change as well as Transformation. In our team’s mission, Strategy & Transformation is a key topic as we shape the strategic direction, plan and orchestrate the transformation and execute strategic projects for the CDIO and his leadership team through events and communications assets.

 

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.

 

Note for Germany: currently the SAP Internship Experience Program is only open to interns and being hired into other contract types such as working students will preclude the candidate's participation in the program.
