Tasks

Mastering Scale and Complexity:
Join us at SLAY and experience the thrill of engineering on a massive scale. Our apps and games are global leaders, and as a Backend Engineer specializing in Node.js and TypeScript, you'll be tasked with designing and developing systems to manage huge volumes of traffic and complex data. Your work is crucial in scaling our platforms, presenting an exciting challenge for any engineer eager to make a significant impact.

Cross-Platform Integration Expertise:
Your role involves ensuring seamless integration across our iOS and Android platforms. You'll be responsible for refining and enhancing our core systems, creating consistent user experiences across all devices. Your skills will be key in aligning mobile development with backend infrastructure, essential for smooth and engaging user interactions.

Innovation and Feature Development:
As a Backend Engineer at SLAY, you'll be instrumental in developing innovative features that set our products apart in the competitive market. Your work will directly influence how users engage with our games and apps, contributing to our position as industry leaders.

Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: Demonstrated expertise in backend development, especially with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Tech Stack Mastery: Proficiency in distributed systems like RabbitMQ/Kafka, ScyllaDB/Cassandra, and Postgres.
  • First Principle Thinking: Ability to dissect complex problems and devise innovative solutions.
  • Urgency & Commitment: A high drive for results, managing tight deadlines effectively.
  • Scalability Focus: Experience in developing and scaling systems for massive user bases.
  • Collaborative Innovation: A collaborative approach to feature development and problem-solving.
