Professional Fiscal Reporting Compliance Officer (f/m/x) - Group Compliance Fiscal Reporting Compliance ("FRC"), a team within RBI Group Compliance division in Financial Crime Management department, is responsible for RBI group-wide  standards and management of the fiscal reporting compliance topic areas (US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA), US Qualified Intermediary regime (QI), Common Reporting Standard (CRS), and the Austrian "Kontenregister").

   Your role at RBI
  • Support the team on all relevant FRC topics (compliance program ownership and reporting in time and quality for fiscal reporting regimes FATCA, CRS, QI, "Kontenregister" incl. RBI group steering). After appropriate phase-in period, take-over certain topic leadership. 
  • Ensure proper data and reporting quality for steering and regulatory fiscal reporting purposes. 
  • Analyze regulatory requirements and propose smart implementation approach to ensure regulatory compliancy. 
  • Support from business side in close collaboration with other stakeholders the planning, design, and execution regarding our digitalization and change strategy using new technologies.  
  • Perform detailed root-cause analysis, analyze data, system testing and propose improvement actions in our areas of responsibility. 
  • Support training and awareness activities. 
  • Monitor and analyze market standards, regulations as well as best practices in Austria and relevant regions. 
  • You will acquire a sound knowledge and understanding of the FRC business areas as well as banking overall.
Your core competencies  
  • University degree in Business Law/Business Economics/Business Administration/Project Management or comparable studies. 
  • Working experience in banking with understanding of banking products and the standard processes of a bank or in tax compliance advisory in a reputable audit/tax firm. 
  • Interest/high affinity in/to Governance, Risk and Compliance. 
  • Basic change management skills backed by strong multi-cultural sensitivity. 
  • Effective strategic and analytical skills.
  • Excellent in issue management and solution oriented. 
  • A highly independent and self-reliant individual who also excels at collaborating as a valuable team player. 
  • High willingness to learn and grow within the team/company to gain profound business expertise and product management skills for supporting and interlinking the business and IT product teams. 
  • Openness for new technologies and data analysis capabilities/skills.  
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to deliver on a common goal. 
  • Very good English AND German skills.
