Job description:

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting, designing, and developing software within the specified areas, aligning with the Product Roadmap and collaborating closely with SW Architects, Chip Designers, and other cross-functional teams.

Missions:
  • Architect, design, Write unit-test and embedded software documentation
  • Collaborate on the creation of robust software solutions, ensuring alignment with the Product Roadmap and working closely with SW Architects and Chip Designers
  • Take ownership of the software quality, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software through rigorous testing and documentation processes
  • Schedule and manage your own tasks, participate in software planning, and report progress to project leaders
  • Provide valuable feedback to the Architect and Chip teams to enhance product features and improve the overall developer experience in next-generation chips
  • Take an active role in mentoring, coaching, and technically supervising junior team members

Profile:
  • Bachelor's level with approximately 6 years of deep working experience in Protocol Development in an Embedded Software environment, or Academic level with 4 years of experience
  • Proficient in one or more Wireless IoT protocols with hands-on experience in their implementation and low-level drivers interacting with radio hardware
  • Fully competent in all aspects of software engineering, including coding and testing. Strong ability to prioritize work, set goals, and meet deadlines for self and others
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a cross-functional team
  • Very good knowledge of embedded software development, Processor Architecture, and experience in C programming. Familiarity with the design and development of software in deeply embedded platforms
  • Working experience with software development methodologies (Agile, SW testing, etc.) and Source Code Management (Git, SVN, etc.)
  • Expertise in 802.15.4 and Zigbee and/or Thread with a deep understanding of their implementation. Hands-on experience with the interaction of these protocols with radio hardware and User-Application APIs
