Working Student/ Intern position for Advanced Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging Components

In this role you have the opportunity to
Gain valuable insights into the development work in the field of medical X-ray imaging while being able to contribute to and shape future developments.
You are responsible for
- Develop artificial intelligence algorithm to model thermal behavior of imaging components.
- Motivation: Improve performance, workflow and value of modern X-ray components for medical imaging systems.
- For that: Perform FEM simulations; Implementation and optimization of different neural network architectures; Optimization of performance, accuracy and functionality; Implementation on embedded system.
- Be part of an agile team of experts (software and hardware engineers) within the larger R&D organization.
- Great opportunity to conclude your studies with a thesis in a dynamic high-tech environment.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
- Technical background and education: Physics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or similar.
- Required: Solid Python programming skills, basic application experience of common deep learning toolboxes (e.g. Tensorflow / Keras).
- Added benefit: Basic experience with common FEM toolchains (e.g. Ansys)
- You have pronounced communication skills and excel as self-organization, independent learner.
