As Chief, Architect Engineer (AE) Design Management Section, manage the workload of a diverse group of architects, engineers, engineering technicians, and management analysts.
Team is responsible for all pre-award AE contract activities as well as post-award contracting officer representative (COR) duties.
Manage the district's AE base contracts and serve as chairperson or source selection board member on new or follow-on base contract actions.
Develop design criteria, standards, and design instructions for AE firms and Host Nation design agencies. Responsible for the preparation of in-house design of architectural or engineering features of US/NATO construction projects.
Prepare design analyses and ensure effective working relationships within and outside the organization. Provide advice concerning technical matters and on complex problems where policy or relationships with outside agencies are involved.
