Basking utilizes data-based occupancy insights to support key workplace management decisions. To provide these insights, Basking uses AI-based modeling along with data collection from WiFi and other building systems. Role Description We’re looking for the Head of Product and Operations (all genders) for Basking. Your role will be pivotal in driving growth for the company. This job has multiple responsibilities across product management, product operations, technical sales, and project management. The required technical knowledge includes corporate wireless networking, enterprise SaaS solutions, IoT / API integrations, and basic knowledge of data processing. The candidate should have an executive background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The job offers competitive compensation, flexibility, and equity in the company. This is a remote or hybrid position. Responsibilities Product Strategy:
  • Lead the product development lifecycle from ideation to delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Data Analytics, Customer Success, and Marketing, to define and prioritize features.
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap, considering market trends, customer feedback, and business priorities.
  • Conduct grooming to refine feature requirements. Conduct ideation and prioritization sessions to ensure alignment.
Customer Focus:
  • Work closely with the Customer Success team to understand user needs, gather feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support onboarding and provide product expertise during customer interactions.
Product Operations:
  • Support the Customer Success and Customer Support teams by identifying required internal management tools and feeding those requirements into the product roadmap.
  • Coordinate with Engineering for technical product configuration for cases where we are missing internal management tools.
Technical Sales:
  • Explain the product from a technical perspective, and discuss with IT professionals all necessary technical aspects of our product and the technical implications / requirements on their side.
  • Be able to explain our product from a data privacy perspective, and discuss with data privacy professionals and works council members how our product meets their expectations
  • From an IT security perspective, highlight and discuss how our product is simple, scalable, and secure with IT security professionals.
Also, take the lead in replying to IT security questionnaires from leads. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering, computer science, etc.); advanced degrees are a plus
  • Leadership experience in a tech startup or a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent management skills (communication, prioritization, negotiation, presentation, and delegation)
  • Given the broad scope of the job, you thrive in an environment with many different tasks, technologies, teams, customers, and priorities
  • Broad experience in all aspects of Product Management, including design
  • Attention to detail and proactive thinking
  • Results-driven with a focus on exceeding targets
  • Understanding IoT or corporate wireless networking is a plus
