Associate Solar Project Engineer

Functional area: Engineering
As Solar Project Engineer you will support the development, planning, installation and commissioning of solar and storage power plants in Germany and Central Europe.
Your tasks:
- Support in the preparation of site plans and single line plans for solar and storage power plants to support project development and construction.
- Support of energy assessments for solar and storage power plants to support project development and construction
- Supporting the regulatory and permitting process for industrial-scale solar and storage power plants
- Support the tendering process for construction projects by writing technical specifications and evaluating bids with quantifiable measures
- Assist in coordinating technical requirements and deliverables with the SCADA, transmission, civil and storage engineering teams throughout the design, procurement and construction process
- Participate in site visits during development and construction to guide the design process
- Continuously work with development, construction and procurement to reduce the LCOE of the entire project portfolio
Your profile:
- A technical education in renewable energy, electrical engineering or related fields
- Initial experience with renewable energy projects would be desirable
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, PVsyst and Excel would be an advantage
- Fluent in English and German, other languages would be an advantage
