Data Engineer

📌We are looking for a Data Engineer for one of our customers in the Information Technology sector, based in Lutherstadt Wittenberg, Germany.

🔐Tasks & Responsibilities

• You maintain the already installed Power BI front-end and continuously develop it as a reporting and analysis tool for management and specialist departments

• You will keep the links between the data from the ERP and MES systems (Oracle and SQL databases) and Power BI up to date

• You develop a deeper understanding of the two upstream systems FOSS/Ordat ERP and CT data technology (MES)

• You will independently solve interface problems in coordination with the system providers

• You will prepare data and interfaces for further digitalisation steps in production and administrative processes

Requirements

🔑Profile

• University degree, preferably in computer science or industrial engineering or hands-on experience in this field

• Good knowledge of working with Oracle and SQL databases

• Good knowledge in the handling and further development of Power BI and the creation of dashboards including the preparation of complex databases

• As a team player, you are happy to liaise with internal customers on an ongoing basis and are willing to play a key role in further projects (e.g. AI in production)

• You are fluent in German (C2) and can also communicate effortlessly in English
