Your Role

  • The Manager Strategy is an important role within ZEISS Vision Care where you work closely with the Head of Strategy and the Members of the Management Board and support strategy development, strategic projects, investments/M&A, sustainability, and market intelligence
  • You conduct meaningful analyses and concepts and support various projects (e.g., in the context of identifying, analyzing, and evaluating investment/M&A opportunities, market analyses, technology investigations, business expansion options, sustainability initiatives, or organizational development)
  • You prepare relevant presentations (e.g., Board decision proposals) for the Management Board, Executive Board, and Supervisory Board in English
  • With all these tasks and activities, you immerse yourself in a challenging and inspiring environment, in collegial cooperation, and drive forward the strategic fields of the ZEISS Group
  • You build a comprehensive network into the various business and functional areas of the ZEISS Group and lay the foundation for excellent international career options

Your Profile

  • A degree in business and/or technical studies from a university, with outstanding results, preferably a master’s degree, MBA, or doctorate Work Experience
  • 3-5 years of work experience, ideally in a demanding environment (e.g., Strategy Consulting, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), Strategy/Corporate Development department)

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

  • The ideal candidate for this role should possess strong analytical and project management abilities, along with excellent problem-solving skills and a high degree of adaptability to thrive in dynamic environments
  • Commitment, social competence and entrepreneurial thinking to motivate and inspire others, and to further develop the ZEISS Group
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience abroad
