Klang is looking for a Game Production Engineer (f/m/d) who enjoys a collaborative and creative work environment to join us in one of the most exciting cities on the planet Our developer experience (DevX) team, which enables and enhances the productivity of our game designers and feature team engineers, is looking for you. You will be working hand in hand with Game Tools Engineers, Unity Developers, Game Designers, and Backend Engineers to develop and enhance their in-house tooling.

What you will do
  • Work on tooling to increase developer productivity and quality of life through technological solutions (eg.: web applications, testing frameworks, authoring tools, asset delivery, version control, CI)
  • Create, maintain, and enhance internal tooling to enable faster and better game content delivery
  • Able to work on a diverse tech stack in multiple domains
  • Work closely with other developers to enhance their velocity
Who we think will be a great fit
  • You have at least two years of experience in delivering web applications and tooling
  • You have in-depth experience in using the React.js, RTK, and Redux frameworks
  • You have in-depth experience in C#/.NET backend development
  • You are familiar with TDD methodologies, Docker, end-to-end testing, and REST API
  • You are comfortable debugging and increasing the performance/scalability of web applications
  • You want to work with multiple technologies other than full-stack development
  • You can work with and on software systems across multiple platforms - Windows, Linux, macOS, mobile platforms
  • You have experience in working in a team-driven environment using collaboration tools such as JIRA, git, CI/CD pipelines
  • You are self-sufficient to unblock yourself and communicate any risks professionally
  • You can work in an Agile environment
  • You can proactively communicate and collaborate with other teams and to identify inefficiencies
  • You can communicate fluently in English in multiple domains
  • You are pragmatic and able to compromise when given difficult technical decisions
  • You have the desire to learn, grow, and develop
Bonus
  • You have experience in creating/developing/improving CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity and GitHub Actions
  • You have experience in GRPC
  • You are familiar with cloud infrastructure and are comfortable working with Kubernetes
  • You have experience in Redis or similar caching optimizations
  • You have shipped game(s) working with Unity and are familiar with Asset Bundles and Addressables
  • You can manage context-switching proficiently
